November 19

1995 Acura Integra Special Edition. Was looking for a car that I could drive during winter. I was attracted to the car because it wasn't messed with like obnoxious aftermarket parts. Front seats were reupholstered. Car was fairly clean other than the perforation in the body. Later on, I find out how bad it really is. Car wouldn't crank, no power to anything. Replaced the battery and still nothing. Found the Main fuse blown, possibly from crossing battery cables. Replaced that and away I went!

January 24

New turn signal assemblies.

January 26

New headlight assemblies and rear hatch shocks.

January 30

Password JDM was going out of business so I grabbed a few things. Billet cam plug, rear wiper delete and valve cover bolts.

March 16

Horns were broken and the connectors could not be reused. Ordered Hella horns to fix that.

March 25

I finally had time to replace headlight assemblies and install the new horns. HUGE difference!

April 21

Little tune up. Replaced spark plugs and plug wires. Removed valve cover to repaint it and also installed the billet cam plug.

April 28

The car was really sluggish to drive and found the catalytic converter clogged. Closer inspection, the entire exhaust is in very rough shape. Purchased a complete stainless exhaust system from eBay. The header flange had to be removed because it clearly would not work with the new test pipe.

June 5

Ordered an actual muffler to replace the one on the eBay kit.

December 11

Since my dumb dumb brain bought a stainless exhaust kit, I couldn't weld the muffler on myself. Took it to a local exhaust shop. Very happy with sound and their work.

December 12

Both license plate lights were broken. Couldn't find replacement light assemblies...

December 15

So I ordered license plate bolt lights.

December 18

Installed LED lights for high and low beam. I can actually see at night now!!

December 19

Only one working speaker in the car. Ordered new JBL speakers for the front and rear. Rear I installed later.

May 6

Poor engine burned oil a lot. Replaced all valve stem seals.

May 8

On the way home my back glass blew out. Culprit was that billet rear wiper delete.

May 11

Luckily found a used complete hatch.

May 15

New hatch fit perfectly.

May 19

Starting to get warm outside so I wanted to see why the A/C didn't work. Clutch was bad on the compressor.

May 23

To help with road noise and exhaust noise, I ordered sound deadening mats to lay down in the trunk. It really really quieted everything down, very happy with that product. While the rear interior was torn apart I finally replaced the rear speakers. No wonder speakers were blown...they were junk Sony Xplodes.

June 26

Such a nightmare. The new A/C Compressor from RockAuto was busted and leaking refrigerant oil. They did not honor the warranty. Ordered a Denso Compressor to replace it.

June 28

The rear seat bottoms and seatbacks were very sun dried. I sent them off to get reupholstered.

July 7

The A/C fan didn't work all the time and would also turn on when the car was off. (Do not confuse with radiator fan, they are separate)

July 8

Replaced both fan relays also. You can see the new condenser. Got the seats back from the upholstery shop. Did a great job!

July 11

Painted some trim that definitely discolored. Ran the audio and power wires to the new powered subwoofer from Crutchfield.

July 12

I really hate the color that I sprayed because it doesn't match very well. Lucky me, this paint didn't last long before it started flaking off.
